Champlain Park High School Auditorium

This school had a very active music program, including a large concert band. In order to better accommodate this large ensemble we wanted to increase the cubic volume of the auditorium as much as possible. To achieve this we developed an overhead reflector system that allowed critical early reflections back to the seating areas, but that still allowed ample sound to pass through to acoustically utilize the large volume of space above the ceiling. This significantly increased the cubic volume of the auditorium, and allowed for a better acoustical environment for the school's large concert band. The auditorium seats 700.
